The Fashion and Textile Museum is a hot pink museum owned by designer Zandra Rhodes and is in Bermondsey. The exhibition space holds one exhibition at a time and closes between exhibitions, so only visit when there's an exhibition on.
Most of the recent shows have been absolutley stunning - Horrickses pretty summer dresses, a delve into the archives of Sanderson interiors back catalogue, vintage clothing, sexy menswear photography - when the FTM is on good form it's the best place to be.
There are occasional duff shows like the Scandinavian design one which showcased some fairly amateruish sewing, but as someone who loves sewing, textiles and craft, this is my second favourite museum after the V&A and I love it to bits! Go there! Go now!
