The hotel is in a fabulous location and if you get the Heathrow Express you literally couldn't want a closer hotel.
Check-in when I arrived was unfriendly, the room had been booked by the organisation I was seeing the next day, the booking clearly said the guest name was my name, but I received the most blank stare because I was not Julie, i was Simon, once sorted that was fine.
The room itself, you could not have asked for more, everything at hand that you could ever need for a hotel stay.
The sleep - not great - whilst the room itself was fantastic, its location on the first floor overlooking the busy road with only wood frame single glazing did nothing to dampen the noise - not totally the hotels fault, and the risk you take staying in a major city - there will always be noise
Breakfast was a fine choice, however one poor point, when I chose the cereal I wanted, the cereal i got was very different, a mislabeled dispenser, not the sort of error one expects, but once notified to the hotel staff, who were very attentive, the problem was fixed.
Checkout was pretty easy - the desk was busy, but seeing this an extra member of staff took over and I was quickly on my way.More
