Well-located for transport hubs, this very comfortable hotel (luxurious?) is ideally placed for the tourist and the business visitor. Although the reception/foyer is rather cavernous, the hotel is warm and friendly – the check-in staff proved especially efficient as I arrived in the midst of a group of 10-15 people.
My double-room was large enough and well-equipped, although the large TV screen could have been a little ‘intimidating’. As usual with central London hotels, the noise of the traffic was to be heard clearly in my 6th floor room.
The bed was comfortable, the room clear and the water hot.
Breakfast was adequate – lots of it, but whilst the cereal and dried fruit choice was extensive and delicious, the hot food was plentiful, but some of the dishes looked rather ‘too cooked’ and dry (although it was only 15 minutes after they began serving breakfast). The coffee was best avoided.
Apart from breakfast, I didn't eat in the hotel as there are lots of possibilities - to suit all tastes and pockets - within easy walking distance. Try the Queen's Head and Artichoke (a pub with class) which is to be found behind the hotel and has a first floor dining room - very tasty food.
Overall, the White House is not a cheap option and whilst the accommodation was good, the food was disappointing.

The Hotel is around the courner from the incredible regents park and located next to several tube stops and bus lines. We really enjoyed this area which is near many of the "western" london attractions. Make sure to take one of the rental bikes (station is located behind hotel) and explore Regents park!

Room Tip: You can upgrade to the Jr Suite for about 60 pounds

Confusingly, I cannot decide whether this hotel deserves another chance. Arrived at 12.30pm and room wasn't ready. Told it would be put on priority to be cleaned but to come back around 3pm. At 3.45 the room was still not ready. Were given a drinks voucher and asked to wait in the bar. Finally got the room at 4.30pm. The room itself was nice. A Classic Double, but was very spacious compared to other London hotels. Huge bed, plenty of pillows (not the most comfortable though unfortunately). Amenities plentiful in the bathroom. BUT for £187 the view could have been much better .... a flat roof with adjacent hotel bedroom windows being able to see in to our room and vice versa. The hotel is on a main road and is very noisy through the night.
Breakfast had a plentiful selection, both hot and cold. It could possibly have been our bad timing, but the bacon was inedible as it was hard and dry after standing under heated lamps for so long. Better timing would probably have meant better food?
The staff were all pleasant, the bar staff being especially so.
Overall, I still don't know if I would go back. I don't think I got value for money on this occasion.

We stayed in a jr suite at this upscale hotel and it was fantastic
The room was tremendous including a very large closet.
Mark in the concierge area was very helpful and professional in teaching us how to use the tubes.
There are 3 near the hotel which makes it easy to get to central London
We had use of the lounge level which was wonderful for breakfast and drinks and food in the
Evening.it was well worth the extra money.
This is truly a gem of a hotel
As travel agents we would certainly refer our clients here

Room Tip: Buy the level package or upgrade to a deluxe room
