The Rubens at the Palace was excellent. The concierge was very helpful and knowlegable on where to go and how to get there, the room was well appointed and their complementary breakfast was a well stocked and tasty buffet that would satisfy most anyone. A major plus is the Rubens location, just a block from Buckingham Palace and central to many major sights. We were able to walk easily to many of the things we wanted to see. It is not cheap but for London, worth every pound!

Spent 4 nights (04/18/12 thru 04/21/12) in this wonderful hotel. Great service; excellent restaurant and food (especially for London) and comfortable room. Literally, across the street from Buckingham Palce Mews and other entrances. Could not have enjoyed our stay more!!

We have been lucky enough to have stayed at plenty of hotels over the years however Rubens at the Palace is just the best ever. Staff and complimentary gifts for Eamonn were amazing. The meals and drinks the room were just fantastic and Eamonn will never forget this amazing birthday it was perfect thank you so much to all that made it great and the fantastic Tanyia. jan ellis

For access to Victoria Station, which is important to us, this hotel is great. All staff appear to take pride in their service offering and absolutely no complaints there either. Only downside is that for the price of the room (£179 inclusive of VAT), it was a little disappointing, with the bed crammed into a space that the Yotel would be proud of, and a television that was probably the bees knees in 1990. My brother's family room was £360 for the night and again it wasn't a "wow" factor when I saw it. But maybe I am expecting 1990 pricing which is not realistic.

We would have stayed in the Victoria Park Plaza if it had availability and that will be first choice next time, but thanks to all the staff for the great service, and pricing is not really their remit.

Room Tip: A room is a place to sleep at the end of the day, not really expecting the Trocadero to be installed...
