Stayed here one night with my daughter. Met by friendly staff at reception and as our room was not ready, we were offered free drinks in the bar. Lovely room, with the most comfortable bed. Meal in the restaurant was very good and breakfast was one of the best I have had in London.
All of the staff were friendly and efficient and this is what makes the hotel so good. This creates an intimacy which you do not normally get in a London hotel of this size.
Location is perfect and three minutes from Victoria tube station.
Look forward to staying again.

Room Tip: Choose a king size room - the beds are so large and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed for two nights prior to our tour of England. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful and very courteous. Our room was beautiful furnished and very English just as we wanted, A little on the small side, Thats to be expected in London Location just perfect for our sight seeing. Walking distance to most attractions. (we love to walk) Just around the corner from Buckingham Palace. Wonderful to see the changing of the guards.. Buffet breakfast was excellent as was the dinner. After our tour we decided to return for another night before our long trip back to Australia. The staff organised our transfer to the Airport. Would we recommend. Most certainly.. We hope to return to England in the next few months. Where would we stay Rubens of course.

The hotel is perfect for tourists visiting London. The rooms are well equipped with everything you'd need, the restaurant is good, the breakfast buffet is amongst the best in London and the bar is spacious and lively. The location is very convenient for everywhere that a visitor to London will want to go.

The only downside is that, for a business trip it is less ideal. There is not really the space to use the desk space for a computer. Check in and check out is not designed for those wanting rapid in and out, and the one small lift can slow you down considerably.

All that being said, if you don't need to work from your room and you're not in a hurry this is a lovely hotel.

I stayed just the one night for a onward journey to Gatwick. The location is perfect for what i needed a 3 min walk to Victoria station . The room was above my expectation , newly refurbished boutique style and with everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

We were welcomed from the moment we stepped out of the cab and enjoyed our stay at this delightful hotel so very much! The staff (especially Concierge Tom) could not have been more patient and helpful during our stay! It takes strong leadership and a team! Congraultions to The Rubens! Can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Upgrade if smaller type rooms are not your thing! We are used to travel and appreciate cleanliness...
