The hotel accommodations were nicely decorated and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Great location if you’re looking for museums and parks, and close to two tube stations.
I am giving an average rating as I was not informed that there would be construction happening at the hotel during our stay, and because our room was much smaller than expected. Details below.
Our window was covered by scaffolding and tarps, obstructing our view of the city and most of our natural light. The construction crew worked from 8am through the end of the day.
While generally we were out during these times, the noise made it near impossible to relax here during the day. I was fortunate to have brought sound proof headphones, but distraught by the need to use them to relax in my room.
Additionally, the room we booked was very small. The pictures were fairly misleading. The queen sized bed took up the majority of the room, with about 1 foot to squeeze past the bed and the desk to get the other side of the room. Maybe being used to American hotels has given me different expectations, but I was certainly expecting something a little larger than what we experienced.More
