This is place is like stepping back in time. A really quaint hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff very professional. Even made us some sandwiches after returning from a very boozy night out at 2am in the morning. Thanks guys!!

Durrant’s is a hotel of style, lavishing you with its wood panelling, art deco fixings and old-fashioned service, apparent from the moment you walk through the door. The rooms are comfortable enough, however, ours did not have functioning air conditioning which made for a rather sultry couple of nights on two unseasonably warm October days. Having to sleep with a fan blasting out at maximum revs and the windows open didn’t make for the most restful of stays. Unfortunately, the speed of service at breakfast, 45 minutes form ordering to receiving food, was just not acceptable and meant a last minute bolting down of the offerings before leaving for a meeting. This resulted in us going elsewhere for breakfast on the second morning of our stay. A nice hotel, but not without its issues to address.

A pleasant, quiet charm exudes from Durrants Hotel. The service is polite, helpful and very good. The rooms are simple and understated, and comfortable.
Excellent value for money, we shall be returning regularly.

15-20 years ago, I believe, this hotel was very nice and cute, but seems that since that time it was never renovated. Rooms look very tired and dirty (carpets on the floor are a complete disaster, all in stains and stink; bathroom doesnt look clean even if washed properly, its just too old). No aircondition, thus had windows opened, but too noisy street. Booked this hotel as everyhting else was fully booked, but wont book it again if other options will be available.

Service is very professional and friendly though. Breakfast was good as well.

I had a room booked by a business partner
Decoration
So old , that the wall papers show sign of time and age. The paper is dirty . Not even at home I would accept this

Comfort
The bed is comfortable but no air conditioning

Cleanliness
Hairs in my bathroom so they took me to another which had the same issue
Floor and walls are so old that anyhow they don’t look clean

So many nice boutique hotels in London , with refurbished rooms , don’t go there

This hotel needs a complete change . It is stuck in the 80s-90s
