“My favorite hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2012

I have been staying here every time I come to London. It's not the biggest, the fanciest, the cheapest or the the most expensive place. The rooms are a decent size for a Europeon hotel. What I like is the feel and pace of the place. The staff is formal and friendly. It is the perfect balance. The concierge are knowledgeable and useful...they can provide good information, find hard to find tickets...one trip the concierge convinced his buddy to sell his tix to a show that was sold out!

The rooms are comfortable and well laid out with high end everything. Linens, towels, toiletries, fixtures, everything. The maid service is perfect. Mather have a well stocked mini bar that is not outrageously priced.

Room service is, bar none, the best of any hotel anywhere that I have stayed. Just superb, with lots of local sourced and organic products. Thought is given to playing. I love their food from room service and in the buffet breakfast room. The breakfasts are excellent but overpriced...my only quibble.

Can't beat location a couple of blocks from Piccadilly.

Love it.

My wife and I stayed at the Cavendish over a weekend and found it to be first class. The welcome by the Concierge and Receptionist was warm and efficient. Our luggage, and later some flowers, were readily taken to our room which faced the Fortnum and Mason store on Jermyn Street. Our superior twin room was spacious, smartly furnished, with a quality ensuite, widescreen tv, wifi, tea/coffee and very clean. Breakfast was superb with a wide range of hot and cold dishes. We had the pre-theatre dinner on two evenings and both were of a high standard and very reasonable. A feature of our stay was the courteous and pleasant staff throughout the hotel. We would happily make a return visit.

This is not the best looking hotel from the outside but you don't judge a book from it's cover. We have stayed here 3 times now and it has become our hotel when we stay in London. The rooms are nicely sized and have probably the most comfortable beds that we have slept on. Great views of London and it's own car park.

rare jewel of a hotel run and staffed by a real team of friendly, helpful, pleasant, smiling, lovely people - you're to be congratulated as this is such a rarity - unbeliveably well done. Location is perfect, hotel rooms are quiet , very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and served til 12 midday at the weekends.... the price is competitive - especially for the location. Thanks for a lovely stay - will definately be back.

Room Tip: 1406 is a teeny one in comparison to others on the floor plan - so ask for a slightly larger one if...

we stayed here for during easter holiday in Uk before heading back to Dubai.

We always stop over in London every time we visit my husband family. so far, Cavendish location is the best. it is walking distance to everywhere in london. centrally located yet in a quite area.

the room is modern and comfortable. request for higher room as they have very good view of the city.

Breakfast is included in our stay. it is good but expensive. There are lots of small cafes around the ares which will cost less than the hotel cost.

Staff are good and friendly. the hotel lobby and public area are all well maintained.

ii won't hesitate to stay again on our next visit.
