We booked this hotel as we needed parking for a long van. We called beforehand to check this and were told this would not be a problem, and give instructions on where to park.

We arrived a 6pm on a Sunday night - no problems finding the hotel, and check in was simply and took a couple of minutes. Nice modern decor throughout the hotel.

We had an executive room at £110 a night - the room was on the small side but only to be expected in London. Still comfortable for 2 people, with a nice sized bathroom. Nice touches with the L'Occitane toiletries and complimentary mini bar with coke, diet coke and still/sparkling water.

Nice comfortable bed (on the firm side) and we didn't experience any road noise, although we did request a room at the back based on previous reviews. This hotel is located in a flight path so there is occasional aeroplane noise. Not too bad, but noticeable. Robes and slippers provided in the room.

Breakfast was really nice for a continental breakfast - lots of meats and cheese, smoked salmon, plus a good selection on cakes/pastries. Everything was replenished when it ran out, and tea and coffee brought to the table as requested. Got quite busy in there are 9am when we were there however. Lots of fruit, yoghurts, and some cereals, plus orange and apple juice.

Overall a really nice stay. Just what we needed and everything seems really straight forward here, no over complicated check-in or check-out etc.

I had some paperwork I needed to print and asked at reception if there was anywhere I could do this - she just said to email it to the hotel email address and they would print it for me - again, so simple and straightforward, which is refreshing these days! Plus, the whole hotel is immaculately clean!

Would definitely stay here again - we often need to stop in London and these place seems ideal when we need to be in this area.

My only advice here? Ask for a room at the back if you're a light sleeper (as I can see how the road noise would be a problem) and maybe go for breakfast later on - the breakfast room was nearly empty at 9:30am with all of the food re-stocked.

A small, new, and very clean hotel. Location is not central, but the underground is a two minute walk away. The price includes a varied, freshly prepared breakfast, tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. This also includes complementary water and soft drinks, and biscuits in the rooms !

Rooms on the small side, but pleasantly decorated, and very clean, with free wi fi .
The staff is very efficient and friendly.

Strongly recommended, if you do not mind a bit of travelling to get to the sights of london.

It was hard to find the hotel at first but after phoning, the owner/manager came out and waved. It is a small hotel. 2 semi's knocked into one which blends well with the rest of the road, with the name written sideways on the porch. ( 230 Hendon Way is 3 doors up from the Hendon Clinic on the same side) There is also a free car park . Once inside the reception was light airy and the manager was very welcoming and helpful. We were given a ground floor room, bigger than average with a huge bathroom with walk in shower. It could benefit from somewhere to put your toiletries though. The room was very modern, tastefully decorated, clean and extremely comfortable. We were given complimentary chocolates and told the soft drinks in the fridge were also complimentary. Plenty of toiletries and the coffee and tea were all from Fortnum & Masons including darjeeling and lemon teas. There was also a real orchid in our room which was a nice touch. Everything has been thought of including a reading light and plug socket beside the bed , and the bed itself was extremely comfortable
There is no restaurant at the Hide but we were recommended an Italian restaurant a short stroll away which did not disappoint.
Breakfast was a cold continental buffet of fresh fruit, including strawberries, enormous croissants and pastries, toast, rolls, cereal, ham, cheese, smoked salmon, juice and yogurts. The staff were all very polite and helpful and as we had an appointment in central London the next morning the manager advised leaving our car there ( for free) and getting the bus, which we did.
I liked this hotel and would go back again but would request a room at the back.

Drawbacks; Our room, room 7 is downstairs and behind reception so we kept hearing the phone ring. Also we could hear a lot of traffic noise so it would benefit from triple glazing on the front and door strips to stop doors banging.

Room Tip: Pick a room at the back

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Hide London. We enjoyed our stay. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Bathroom was a bit small, but again, served it's purpose. Very nice L'occtaine (sp?) soaps, lotions, toothbrushes, ect. were provided and replenished if needed on a daily basis. The room had a hairdryer and a mini fridge that provided complimentary still and sparkling water, diet coke, coke, and sprite, again that was replenished daily. Very nice, considering paying for those a bar or pub can get pricy! The breakfast was also very good. I made the mistake of only ordering a latte on out final day-it was delicious and made me wishing I had ordered on very day! There was an assortment of fruit, cereal, meats, cheeses, pastries, toast and jam. It was all very good and a nice way to get your day started. The staff, while not overly friendly were very helpful when we needed something. They also were very accommodating an early breakfast for us when we left the hotel before the actual breakfast hours. It is VERY close to the tube station which was great but it does take about 30 mins to get into the city and about 90mins to get to Heathrow. It is on a busy street but we had a room at the back so we had no problems with noise.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back to avoid dealing with noise from the street. We took the tube from the airport but opted to have a taxi arranged (which the hotel did for us) to return us to the airport. It cost 30 GBP and took about 1 hour and was worth not having to drag luggage around the tube stations.

Contemporary design is probably the main thing that this hotel has to offer, as well as a good range of "things that you want in your room" (including excellent showers.)
It is also pleasingly clean, near to the tube and does a reasonable breakfast.
The downsides being that the location is on a main road and so I guess the rooms at the front might be a bit noisy and I'm not sure that I noticed any of the staff smile at all, but I wasn't there to make friends.

Room Tip: Quieter at the back of the hotel I would imagine.
