Owner description: Far beneath the majesty and splendor of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protegee Christine Daae is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. The musical opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, after more than 10,000 performances. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

Her Majesty Theatre is located at Leicester Square tube station. Easily reachable by foot after arrived at the station. Seated at the Royal Circle section (Unrestricted view). The female lead singer has an exceptional wonderful voice. The entire crew is awesome. A classic love story with many great songs! Suggestion: Buy tickets directly at the Her Majesty Theatre for better seats/rate as compare to 3rd party agent.

Liked the story and singing. Like most shows, it had two sessions with a 10-15 minutes break. It was shown at 7:30 p.m. and lasted about 2 hours 30 mins. If you don't feel hungry before the show, there was a small Italian bites bar & restaurant next to the theatre. Very nice food.

My husband booked tickets for our fifth wedding anniversary and booked the VIP experience.
I have never felt so special!
We were met by our superb butler at the entrance to the theatre and shown to the Royal Room (previously used by Princess Diana), where there was Champagne and hand made chocolates waiting for us. We had exclusive use of this room and our own bathroom. When the rest of the audience were seated our butler came and collected us and showed us to our seats. We were collected and ushered back to our room in the interval for more champagne.
The show was awe inspiring! The standard of the performers was beyond expectation, the orchestra was wonderful, the sets amazing and the special effects incredable. It's not hard to see why this show has been running nearly 26 years!
It was a truely magical experience that I will never forget. I just hope I get the chance to do it all again some day. :-D

It is a must! in Trafalgar you can buy tickets for 60-90 pounds. But you can get REALLY cheaper tickets if you book them by Internet and collect them in the theatre before the play starts. For example here: http://worldticketsales.eolts.co.uk or here http://www.london-discount-theatre.com/
