“a 5 hours visit worth it !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2012

Went there with 2 boys (7 & 12 yrs old).
The museum has a lot of interactive stuff for children, a lot of things to see and photo
We arrived in the morning and visited the Dinosaur area first because we knew that later it will be full of people (and so it was)
Then we visited all the areas by colour and we couldn't believe our eyes when we discovered how time went by when we finished our visit.
The most beautiful museum in London

“Take Me South !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2012

Fantastic exhibition of Scotts last journey South. Brilliantly laid out and very informative. There were 3 Irishmen on the trip and I'm convinced if Scott had taken Crean to the Pole they would have made it back!

“Pretty Good. Crowded”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2012 via mobile

We went on a Thursday in April, not school hols, not summer. Still queues to get in, dinosaur section packed, but shuffled through it like a herd of sheep, nose to tail along a predetermined path. Esp to see the Trex which is just not that great.
Magnificent building, lots to see, lots of stuffed animals. Many interactive things didn't work, many things not particularly engaging.
Go early, if you didn't have to queue & could move through easily, it would be better

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2012 via mobile

Absolutely maginificent! Loved it all the dinosaurs are unbelievable! the only thing that lets it down is the cafe, it doesnt really cater for children, cakes n a few fancy sandwiches if ur kids dont like these things id suggest a pack lunch! The architecture of the building is outstanding!! Def must see!!!
