“so much from all cultures”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

This museum is a woderful collection of everything from everywhere. I learned a lot from the two wonderful tours that I attended. When I go back I will take more tours with the very knowledgable guides. Gets a bit crowded with school groups.

“Looted Treasures”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

What an incredible museum! Rightly or wrongly, its filled with treasures from the Ancient World. If you ever plan to go and see the ruins of Ephesus or the other ancient wonders of the world, be sure to stop by the British Museum first. You'll see what used to be at these ruins back in the early 1800s before they were carted away by some appreciative historians - otherwise they may have been carted off by the gravel-maker.
