an earthy market with a mix of the rough and the cultured. Personal favorites was a visit to Blackmans the famous shoe shop, and the 24 hour bagel shop for a salt beef bagel. Lots of vintage shops have sprung up. Some were good, some were overpriced tat. All were interesting.

Great shops, cool vibe and the best indian food in the UK. Near Shoreditch with all the clubs and restaurants too, lots of good pop up stores and good to seek out Labour & Wait for trad and elegantly sourced useful british tools, brushes and homewares.

lots of shops around, you can find some well-designed stuff, but be prepared for the crazy prices! also many vintage shops great for treasure-hunting, Last time I visited there was a music festival there, crowded but interesting! enjoyed the street food and fleet market!

The whole atmosphere of Brick Lane is great. The indoor food market is well worth a visit as are the numerous curry houses after all that is what Brick Lane is famous for. We visited the Shepard Faiery Exhibition which is now finished and also we were on the look out for Street Art and we were not disappointed! Will definately be going back and also back to Spittalfields.
