In the otherwise touristy and overpriced bland food area of Kensington, this was a saving grace. The tripadvisor reviews are spot on. Great food, great area, very reasonable price.

Pierino's quickly became our go-to restaurant during the two weeks we were in London. Each time (OK, it was four times.) we felt warmly welcomed, received friendly, professional service and delicious, well-prepared dishes. We also felt we received excellent value. We tried many other places in South Kensington and Chelsea but none of them rated even one return visit.

I cannot work out why this restaurant has been so highly rated by many people. The dining area is cramped. We did not feel welcome when we arrived. The service is a bit remote. The food was perfectly fine standard Italian but nothing that deserves 5 stars. However the prices are reasonable for this standard of food.

very yummy pizza and garlic pizza bread, very thin and nice toppings, pasta also generous size and flavoursome. Proper Italian restaurant, excellent value (although starters were a tad expensive compared to mains and etc). House wine £14 and quite nice too, worked out £23 a head for dinner including starters between two, coffee and wine and service This is ran by actualy Italians, speaking the language amongst themselves and is clearly very poplular. It is a little cramped though and if sat too close to door, its constant opening could get a bit chilly!! Nice ambiance and good service (perhaps a little too quick!!). The restaurant smelt exactly the same as our favourite Italian restaurant in wapping, so we took this as a sign of proper Italian ingredients!

Came across this small Italian restaurant on way to museums. What a gem - friendly service and fresh Italian food. Well worth a visit.
