I was pleasantly surprised at how culturally sensitive the staff were with ensuring all the food served to me were in accordance with my halal diet.

Quintessentially British, the Menu boasted a wife range of dishes and they are served in an ambient and welcoming atmosphere.

You can tell the tourists from the high society folk very easily and I guess that's half the fun of an institution like this; the food is as important as the experience.

All in a lovely place and with free parking outside on a Sunday, I can't really ask for more.

Expect to pay a premium, but do you really need to be told that when you are considering dining at an Institution as old as this?

Would recommend for a special occasion or just to feel like part of the aristocracy for one evening.

Normally frequent The Dorchester for afternoon tea but decided to try Claridges. Lovely staff but despite booking very early, our party of three was seated at a very small table for two in a service corner - not the standard of accommodation we are used to at The Dorchester. Food and tea excellent but pity they couldn't provide one quintessential ingredient - clotted cream! Back to The Dorchester in future...

This “restaurant” at the opulent Claridge’s hotel caters for all occasions and tastes. It offers breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as afternoon-tea services. In my opinion, having one menu offering sandwiches, soups, salads as well as starters and mains, is too unfocused.
The dishes are rustic, made with seasonal fresh ingredients and presented well. There is a clear traditional French influence in the starters and mains sections.
The ambience and service are as expected from such a world-class establishment.
