We did the Thames River Fat Tire Bike tour in London yesterday and had a great time. Our Guide Josh was helpful, knowledgeable and certainly knew his history of London. There is plenty of variety on the tour and the sights included the London Eye, Shakespeare's Globe, the Golden Hind, London Bridge, St Paul's, Tower Bridge, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and much more.
We had lunch in the wonderful Borough Market and for foodies it is worth the trip on it's own. After cycling over Tower Bridge it included a trip on the river cruiser as well as cycling and we finished with a visit to Covent Garden and the look at Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. A really good day out, the cycling is not too hard and the traffic not at all a problem. If it is cold it is worth bringing a couple of extra layers of clothing as the wind on the Thames can be cutting.
