We arrived via a bus tour which specifically included Anfield so the commentary was LFC specific. When we arrived we just had to do the tour, £20 per adult.

You get an audio headset which provides lots of interesting commentary as you make your way through the tour. You are not rushed and we could have spent much longer than the 90 mins it took us.

You get taken to the top of the new stand to start and have a fantastic view of the pitch and ground from “the gods”. Spiralling back down you visit the changing rooms, medical area, pitchside dugouts, media centre, pretty much everything that is worth seeing.

You get access to the museum too which is a separate part of the ground but only by a couple of minutes.

Tours have scheduled start times but the museum is access anytime so you look round there while you wait. 5 European cups on show.. but no Zenith Data Systems trophy!
We got tickets when we arrived and had about an hours wait so it worked well.

Good experience whether you support the Reds or not. It’s an historic club.

The stadium's museum and the tour are great and the guide was really funny. Not to be missed if you are around to watch a match even though you might not be a Liverpool fan :)

We booked this tour as part of a trip to Liverpool for my husbands 50th Birthday treat - staying at the Shankly Hotel and including the bus tour from Albert Docks direct to the grounds. From the moment we stepped onto the double decker bus we were filled with incredible information about LFC from a fantastic tour guide who had so much knowledge. When we got to Anfield we were expertly shown how to book in and then escorted with a small group around the grounds by the incredibly knowledgeable and amusing Michael along with his side kick the lovely friendly Tory. The tour was emotional for us both at times as the whole group was allowed to ask questions, stop and take pictures and engage with the whole experience. We will definitely come on the tour again and will be recommending the bus tour as well to family and friends.

Surprise gift to tour stadium. New stand is so impressive. Virtual tour allows you to stroll at your own pace. A must for any LFC fan, and worth a visit even if you do support a different team. So much history.

Everything about a trip to Anfield is excellent
On the walk up to the ground (parking nearby is not easy/recommended) there is a great mix of local pubs, shops and street traders and then when you get to the ground the facilities are very impressive. Live music, food and drink stalls, big club shop, lots of friendly staff to answer any questions. No hassle, small queues. I just hope they keep the focus on the football and it doesn’t become just about the food, drink and entertainment (which is what it is like at an American sports event)
Only complaint would be the queues at half time for a drink (lots of staff standing around seemingly doing nothing)
An expensive day out but always a good one!

My Husband and I took our kids to Anfield on two consecutive days while on a visit to Liverpool. On the Saturday we were fortunate enough to have tickets for a match and we arrived in plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere. The mega store is fabulous and worth a visit. The people who work at Anfield stadium are so friendly and helpful and really made us and our two boys feel welcome. There was plenty of activities for the kids in the fanzone before kick-off including their favorite part, a mini football match. The atmosphere at the match was electric and Liverpool won!

The very next morning we arrived back at Anfield to do the interactive stadium tour and boy was it worth it! So informative and very easy to walk around even with children. Again the staff were super friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our first time at Anfield Stadium and I've no doubt it won't be our last.

Being a new football fan thanks to mo salah I fell in love with lfc and had to go on a tour of Anfield. I went alone and just arrived without booking this wasn't an issue. The staff were all very friendly and the tour guides where quite funny. It was an emotional experience being at a place you love so much and viewing the stadium was amazing the museum was amazing and full of history. Absolutely recommend the tour to supporters of lfc and even non lfc as it truly is an amazing place. Being from Blackburn it put rovers grounds to shame.

Arrived in Liverpool on a Sunday for a game against Fulham. The game day experience is awesome - atmosphere and feel. The whole town is here and has an almost Fenway Park family vibe. Boot room cafe gets super busy on a match day but they do a good job trying to accommodate everyone. As a solo traveler I got seated with fans from Hong Kong, Japan and Norway - great way to meet people on the road, locals too. Easy to get adopted. Did the tour the next day (good use of augmented reality for the guides) and the tour guides have tons of interesting behind the scenes stories if you engage them. Tip: get there early on a game day because traffic picks up and cabs are harder to get 1 hour before the game. I followed the crowd and walked downtown to get home (3 miles) - was worth it- it was pretty much all downhill.
