it was our first time in Liverpool, what a beautiful city , and this hotel was the best ive ever stayed in and i do a lot of travelling,it has so much character ,with Beatles memorabilia everywhere, our room was very spacious with all the mod cons the beds are sooooooo comfy i wish i could take it home, the staff are very friendly and helpful ,and your couldn't ask for a better location, the caven club just round the corner and the waterfront about 10 minutes walk, don't stay any where else

Stayed here with my husband for one night, very impressed, room was lovely, bar excellent, also had the 3 course meal which was excellent, no cheese on the menu, but they happily made us a plate up..Would not hesitate to stay at this lovely hotel again.

I stayed here as part of a good deal package which is advertised on the hotel's website- two nights, including a 3 course dinner at Blake's on the first night (with a glass of wine included) and free entry to the Cavern Club. Its a really good deal, for only about 160 quid, not bad considering the high standard of the hotel.

Located close to the centre of town as well as the docks, it is ideal for visiting. If you are a fan of the Beatles, this is definatley the best place to stay- I loved the memorabilia and photographs displayed all around the hotel. The overall style is funky and cool.

I thought the rooms would have more a boutique hotel feel- we stayed in a deluxe room on the top floor. The beds were extremley comfortable- everything worked perfectly. Girly note: shower cap obligatory in bathroom if you dont want to wash your hair everytime you have a shower, as it was one of those massive beach shower type showerheads which are not detatchable. They do provide one though. Also, the light is not great for doing make up and the sink sticks out really far so you have to climb over it to get closer to the mirror! Minor issue though, in the grand scheme of things...!

I would really recommend this hotel, and this package deal was really good value. Also, all staff in the hotel were all so charming and helpful, so thank-you!

Nice hotel. Oasis of calm after the city centre. Afternoon tea a real treat but only order 2 for 4 people as its big and then order an extra cup of tea unless you not eating again at night. Its expensive but worth it for a treat. Blakes restaurant also worth a visit then pop round the corner for a visit to the cavern club and a pint.

Everything was great but I thought the rooms would have been more original considering the theme of the hotel!
