Acorn farm is fantastic for something to do with the grandkids. Its smaller than i expected it to be but plenty to do there. The staff are very helpful too.

First visit with my granddaughter.2 play areas, 1Perfect for toddlers and the other for older children. Lots of farm animals that we could feed. Didn’t manage to try the cafe or shop but we will definitely go back .

Quite easy to find from East Lancs.- about a 5 to 10 minute drive through industrial park in Kirby. We went midweek, and missed out on the 'animal holding' sessions and the horse back riding. 2 year old grand-daughter was thrilled to feed the goats, chickens, pigs and sheep. I enjoyed playing on the giant xylophone! Highly recommended for a couple of hours with young children, Food was good too in the small and friendly on site cafe.
