Description: JAMIE'S ITALIAN LIVERPOOL A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss. The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that's made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too. Situated in the bustling Liverpool One shopping centre, Jamie's Italian Liverpool has something for everyone. When the sun is out, relax after an afternoon of shopping in our outside dining area and in the cooler weather, sit upstairs in a cosy corner by the window and watch the world go by. The restaurant also boasts an upstairs area which is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions as whole areas can be reserved for up to 50 people. Don't forget to visit the beautiful little deli shop on your way out where they sell a variety of amazing products for you to take away.

Out for lunch and a shop with my daughter in Liverpool. Came across this restaurant which didn’t look too busy, it was quite early for lunch I suppose at 12.15. We were shown to a small table in the window promptly. There was a lunch menu 2 courses for £11.95 I think it was but unfortunately there was nothing I liked for a main course as a vegetarian so I had to order from the main menu which was mushroom in pasta ravioli. Some of the dishes came in large and small portions, unfortunately my choice didn’t. My daughter ordered a small portion of gnocchi Alfredo. To be honest when the food arrived it was pretty average. My pasta, approximately 10/12 raviolis where cooked perfectly in the middle containing the mushroom but the twists attached were more than al dente and quite chewy. My daughter’s meal was something she could and does rustle up herself. It was £20 for a main and small main and two glasses of tap water. I was expecting above average from JO but sadly it wasn’t to be.

Went for a family meal, not good I'm afraid. Food was decidedly average for fine dining prices. Two of our party ordered desserts which didn't arrive then they were told no more desserts were available! Service was sloppy and over familiar. Not at all surprised this chain is closing.

Going to Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Liverpool was the best idea you can have while in Liverpool. For me, it was the first and last time when I had a good meal in England. Everyone knows that english people are not good at cooking and still, the prices are high. However, here you can found prices starting from 8 pounds that are very very tasty and the recipes are very original. If you come to Liverpool don't even think to forget this restaurant. The service is more than great and the waiters are very kind and attentive.

Went for Sunday dinner. Had the antipasta starter which was sufficient for two people. Enjoyed my pasta with prawns. Only two complaints. Restaurant quite cold and no hot water in toilets. Have been to better branches of this chain. Could do better
