“Our 3rd visit to The Anfield B&B”
Reviewed 29 January 2012

We were at the The Anfield B&B for the third time. We were travelling 3 people from Denmark for the Liverpool - Man City match. The room are very nice with tv and tea/coffee. Good bathrooms and clean toilets.

A good breakfast is served by owner James' auntie. A very nice and sweet hostess.

The Anfield B&B is very close to Anfield and a perfect stay for a Liverpool match or any other travel to Liverpool. The bus to city centre is close by aswell.

I can recommend this to all, and when I go to Liverpool again I'll be staying at The Anfield B&B.

Very nice location, only 80 meters away frim the Anfield ground!
To the centre of the city was only a 6pounds taxidrive.
James and the rest of the staff where very helpfull, only 1 night was our stay, but they made a very good impression!
Breakfast was very good in a nice room decorated with all kinds of LFC pictures!
Thank you very much for your help making our Liverpool experience unforgatteble!

I would like to say thanks to Jay and staff of the Anfield B&B for our enjoyable stay. The location was ideal for going to Anfield. Only 100 yards away! Jay was extremely helpful to us. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to a Liverpool game. Pity about the result against Swansea but we still enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere. They made up for it against Chelsea today so hopefully we will be back again in the near future. Without a doubt we will return to the Anfield B&B.
Thanks again to Jay.

I read the reviews here and all I can say is that English people must be very easy to please. I brought my son to England to watch his beloved Liverpool and booked this place as it was so close to the ground and we wanted to walk there and have a few beers in the Albert Pub with the supporters after the game. We didn't expect top class but I have to say it is the worst place I've ever stayed in. The host was a very nice, friendly man but the room was basic to say the least and I had no idea it had no on-suite until we got there. We slept on top of the blanket because the sheets looked as if they had been used. There was no toilet paper in the shared toilet and the bathroom was awful. I needed a shower after I'd had one there, it was so dirty. The area is as bad as I've been to and as for the Albert, we only drank bottled beer as it was so dirty in there we didn't trust the glasses. At 8.00pm the landlord began to close the place down and told us to make sure we did not stay in the area if we valued our lives. Stay in town and get a cab to the game and get back into Matthew Street after and go into the Cavern.

Room Tip: Stay in town
