Location is great - calm at night. Easy to pop out for a cigarette, stroll over to the beach front within a few paces, gaze around, stroll back and all within one cigarette break.
For Guinness drinkers, try the ultrasonic surger. What a treat.
Room and ensuite nicely equiped, totally restful sleep, enough tv channels to catch up on news, watch a drama or laugh at a comedy. Woke up fully refreshed.
Full English breakfast just right for me in quantity and quality. Set me up for the day nicely.
Looking forward to second visit Jan '12
Many thanks Sue

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Sue who made us feel very welcome straight away. We were shown to our room, which was very clean and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. Sue was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we will definately stay here again. Thank you for a lovely weekend Tracey and Jeff

Anybody who is thinking of going to Blackpool and want to stay in a traditional blackpool guest house/hotel then this is the best one by far.Me and my wife and 2 daughters have stayed here every year for the last 12 years and since Sue and Ken took over the helm 9 years ago it has always been of the highest of standards. The place is spotless the breakfasts are defo the best in Blackpool and the location is right in the middlle of the walk from the Pleasure Beach to the Tower. So if you are thinking of going to blackpool then there is only1 place to stay.See you again in October Sue!!!!!!!!!!

You simply feel like you're at home when you go to the Caroldene and I think that is mainly because of Sue and Ken. To be honest, you can have a hotel with all those creature comforts, but it's the people there who will go the extra mile that make the experience and Sue and Ken will always do that for you.
Breakfast has always been brilliant every time I have been, the rooms are always clean and well presented and the hotel itself is near to all those Blackpool amenities that you are probably staying there for. I love the fact that you just walk out the front of the Caroldene, look right and you can see the sea from the doorstep, what more do you want!
I highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking to stay in Blackpool. You can be sure that no matter what, you'll always be catered and welcomed! Definitely hope to go back in the future.
