“great stay!”
Reviewed 17 May 2012

Stayed here for the weekend, for the Pleasure Beach & attractions and the Football.
The service here is brilliant. Quick check in and were given directions on how to get to various attractions - 24 hour reception was brilliant.
we had a family room and was very spacious for a Premier Inn. The beds were comfy and they live up to there 'sleep well' guarantee.
Breakfast is in the Brewers Fayre next door - All you can eat is good, however maybe a bit overpriced for what it is.
The hotel is located a short walk from the pleasure beach, and a 30/40 minute into the centre of Blackpool - depending on how fast you walk.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Blackpool.

You know what you are getting with a Premier Inn - this was fairly modern, clean, and well kept. The next door Brewers Fayre is likewise exactly what you would expect. Service at the hotel was brisk and efficient. Location is a reasonable walk to the waterfront near Pleasure Beach, but about 30 mins stroll to the Tower end of town.

Two little niggles to be aware of. The next door social club was very noisy all night on both night, so perhaps ask for a room away from this. Also, people were smoking in the corridor or rooms, as there was a distinctive tobacco smell in the morning. A shame some people have no consideration, but not the fault of the hotel per se.

Book ahead for a cheap deal.

Room Tip: Suggest you get one away from the main road and social club to reduce noise.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, when visiting the pleasure beach.
Very clean rooms, very comfortable beds and equipped with the basic necessities you'd need. With the good night sleep guarantee you can't go wrong - previously we had stayed in some dodgy B&Bs in the area and think the extra cost is well worth it.

There is the option of breakfast at the adjacent Brewers' Fayre (at extra cost) but we haven't had that so can't comment.

Staff are friendly and professional, check in easy.
We arrived way before our room was ready (10.30am), but we were still checked in and given our key card and told the room wouldn't be available until about 3pm - no problem. We were given a ticket to put on the dashboard of the car which gave us free parking for the weekend.

Pleasure Beach is less than a 10 minute walk across the main car park.

Already booked for April 2013.

Three generations of our family had three rooms at this fantastic Premier Inn for three nighst to visit more family in Blackpool. Srevice ,Food, Staff and Rooms all first class. Names like Hilton, Holiday Inn and De Vere may have additional facilities but No room in Blackpool is cleaner or better quality than what we had. Just got home but will be back later this year. A credit to their cxompany. Special mention to Allison, Lucy and Angie in the Premier Inn and Amy, Mel and Caroline in the restaurant.

Room Tip: All rooms clean and tidy and free car park.

It's a bit cheeky calling this Premier Inn Blackpool Central - Blackpool South would be a much more accurate description. You definitely need a taxi to get into the centre for the bars etc. It is well positioned for the Pleasure Beach however. The hotel and adjoining Brewers Fayre, The Yeadon Way, are both very well kept and still look relatively new despite being a 'few years' old. The bedroom was perfectly adequate and as always the bed provided a very comfortable nights sleep. However the shower in the bathroom failed to provide an invigorating experience, the water pressure being very poor. If there is one thing to fix it is this! I would rather have a great shower over the provision of Freeview on a television that I didn't even switch on! The Brewers Fayre adjacent provided some great drinks, dinner and breakfast. Good value for money and great service from the team behind the bar.
