Myself, hubbi and freind enjoyed bank holliday at cliffs.
room was very good as to the food the only let down was: as my husband is terminaly ill we have been doing short breaks to the their sister hotel claremont but thought we would try cliffs this time but although all other things mentiond were good there is no comfortable seating apart from cafe bar through day which we thought a bit tierd and a bit smelly.we could not get a seat in entertainment room abit disapointing manged to get a couple of seats by the wall at back by the bar no table or anything
so sorry to say woulnt be going back will stay back at claremont

We have family in Cleveleys (we did visit! lol) but it was nice to just have a break in a hotel with a swimming baths etc in Blackpool. I have heard good reports on the Cliffs so it was not difficult to choose where we'd try and book for Sat 14th April night B and B. No disappointment either.
Nice hotel. Not 5 star but room excellent. Clean, tons of hot water but room hot. No heating on but just hot. Like being abroad in summer. Decor in rooms up-to-date and public areas good.
Breakfast good. Parking was on the street-round-the corner but this is Blackpool (and the better end) so was not overly concerned.
Tram stop opp hotel and we walked back from Talbot Square in just over 1/2 hour.
We'd stay again defo.

Room Tip: We had a room that overlooked an internal courtyard so maybe why room was so hot. £15 extra secures a sea-view. One chap in the spa said (who had paid the extra £15) you could be anywhere in the world standing at his window - Ibiza, Malibu, Rhyll, Brighton and only 1 hr 20 mins from home. He came from Yorkshire.

Stayed just one night as we had travelled up for an eveing dance at the Tower Ballroom and needed to stay over. First impressions are that the public areas (not dining though) were a bit shabby. However the room, although small, was very clean and thoughtfully set out. The breakfast was fine and all staff we met were friendly and helpful. Being at the far end of the prom, it was quiet and suited us. We looked at the pool and gym and that looked good so we'll give that a go next time. We would use this hotel again for an overnight stay.

My son and I have been going to the Cliffs for years. We go at least 3 times a year and wouldn't go any where else. The staff are great and friendly, food is good, excellent choice too!
The rooms are clean and comfortable and we always feel at home when we arrive.
Location is excellent as it is not too near the town centre, so more peaceful! My son is now 16 and he has been going to the Cliffs with me since he was11. We walk to Cleveleys, tram it to Fleetwood and Potter round Bispham and Blackpool and love it!
Well recomended for an all round break.
