First of all it is great value for money. Sonia, the owner is very quick to respond to all messages and really helpful.
The place is located near the pleasure beach and a very short walk from the main strip. It is recently refurbished but is basic but clean. Very large apartment with plenty of room for a party of 6.
A few negatives that didn't spoil our time but were inconvenient. Firstly, the parking is only suitable for small cars, we ended up parking down the road, which was only a couple of minutes walk away, and only cost £10 for 24 hours.
On arrival we couldn't lock the door from the inside. We contacted the onsite caretaker, who said he would send someone round to fix the door. He didn't! We returned later and tried to ring him several times but the line just rang out. This resulted in us attempting to fix the door ourselves, which was time consuming but we managed it in the end. There were also a few light bulbs missing, one in the long hallway and one in the bedroom. We were also unable to turn on the light in the bathroom - the pull cord would pull. This eventually rectified itself the following day just before we left! It had obviously got caught and released itself.
Although the caretaker didn't respond to our needs, when I emailed Sonia she replied straight away and said she would get in touch with him on our behalf, however we decided that after fixing the door ourself we could manage without the lights.
There was lots of load music from upstairs, which didn't stop till after 11. Not really a bother for us but if it were a family stopping here it might have been a problem.
Overall, not a bad place to stay, better than a b&b if you're in a group.
