We've stayed at Bridge Mews several times. The location is ideal for having a stroll into Keswick for shopping, or for taking a walk down to the lake etc. You have a dedicated parking space so no worrying about getting parked if you've been out for the day.
The cottage itself - bedroom downstairs with huge double bed and en-suite bathroom. The bed is hard but comfortable, the bathroom is OK but in our opinion could do with updating - we've had problems with the shower door twice now (caused by previous occupants).
Upstairs is an open plan living room, dining area and kitchen. The wooden staircase is narrow and steep - unfortunately one of our dogs is old and really struggled this year so we'll probably not be coming back just because of that. The kitchen has just been renewed and is good enough for any purposes (although the hot water boiler tap splashes badly - use the kettle!). The living area is comfortable and has plenty space.
Bad points -
The cottage is right next to the back of the local supermarket. You can't escape the noise that is made, especially early mornings.
The plates/cutlery etc. are not very good and not really enough. If you want to cook then the cooking equipment is only just adequate.
