It was so nice to see scones actually being baked on the premises – the aroma was enticing as we took refuge after a sudden torrential downpour. Service was fast and friendly and prices reasonable. Look forward to a return visit.

Wow what a find, excellent home made food, soup delicious with a poppy scone, wonderful cakes, mugs of hot tea and a warm friendly welcome from all staff.

We tried to go here on our first day in Keswick but at peak lunch time it was jam packed. The next day we had lunch a bit later and managed to squeeze in. It's very cramped inside but we managed to tuck in our little dog under the table comfortably. If you have a big dog, there's not a lot of room.
The service was really fast and friendly, and the food and tea was delicious. They had homemade cakes and my husband fell in love with a homemade chocolate cake. He said it was the best chocolate cake he'd ever had!

A must when you visit Keswick.
Popped in for coffee and cake on a miserable wet Sunday afternoon and was not disapointed.

I love this café. Today I had a cheese and tuna mayo toastie with the soup of the day. It was delicious. Just the right amount of soup and lovely chunky granary bread (white is also available) toasted to perfection.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I was a solo luncher and felt very comfortable on my own. I follow their Instagram as well and it's clear they are passionate about food, particularly the baking.

There's an excellent selection of cakes, including vegan and gluten free on most days. The portion sizes are generous and the cakes always delicious.

Well worth a lunch visit, or a coffee and cake stop off.
