“Excellent well appointed cottage conveniently located.”
Reviewed 16 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We found everything we wanted in the cottage, which comfortable and very nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable, the shower very good and all necessary utensils in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean and 5 to 10 minutes easy walk to the shops and restaurants of the attractive town of Keswick.
However if you book through Trip Advisor please note the cancellation fees, We lost one day's rental when we reduced the duration of our stay by one day - the cancellation fees made the cancellation pointless - we just lost the money.

“Great stay”

This is a fantastic self-catering flat. It is very well located in Keswick a short walk from everything. The flat itself is beautifully finished with modern kitchen and bathroom (We loved the shower) and comfortable bed and pillows. The wi-fi is a bit weak even with the booster on, and we didn't realise toilet paper would not be provided, the towels are scratchy too so bring your own, but the flat itself is very nice and clean and I would strongly recommend anyone to stay in this lovely apartment!

“What a wonderful place to stay in Keswick!”
Reviewed 25 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Just came back from our stay at the Riverside Cottage in Keswick and I miss it already. The owners were lovely and friendly and answered all our queries and questions we had very promptly. The cottage was very clean and tidy and provided the perfect base to explore Keswick and all it has to offer. All modern amenities needed were provided and the place was very modern and tastefully decorated. Just like the pictures it advertises it certainly didn't disappoint. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our nearest and dearest. For the price we paid we certainly were pleased with the accommodation.

Liked best: The shower is truly amazing!
Liked least: It was quite hot at times and would need to request temperature change from the owners but it wasn't too bad.

This is a converted garage but don let this put you off as it is very spacious inside and all furnishings and appliances are all of good quality there is a seat outside if you are lucky enough to get the weather we did which just adds to your holiday experience. it is situated in a central location and near to buses if you want to travel. all in all value for money and a very cheery and helpful owner greets you.

“Well worth staying at.”
Reviewed 15 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Really loved this cottage. Very clean and we had a very warm welcome from the owner Jana, who was very helpful. This cottage is not far from the centre of Keswick and The Pencil Museum. Also plenty of walks and not far from Derwentwater, which has lovely walks and a boat trip around the lake, which you can hop on and off all day, to some wonderful sightseeing places, waterfalls and wonderful walks or even just sit back and enjoy the boat trip which talks about an hour. If you want a place to stay that is not far from most places in the lakes I would highly recommend this cottage.
