Externally the topiary garden is amazing .. but that is not the only garden element that is special .. so wander around and marvel.
Internally .. I was just gob smacked .. there is so much to see .. and all well described . wander round the rooms .. using the provided info in each room .. quite amazing.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Visited here today and was amazed by the gardens and the hall was fantastic well worth a visit. The café served excellent scones couldn't believe they were £1.90 with jam and butter if you want cream they are £2.20, amazing value

My previous review praised the quality of the hot meals. Alas, no more. Cold food only, and a more limited menu. Levens are building a new restaurant, which seems irrelevant to the temperature of the food - the existing kitchen seemingly unaffected by the building work. The new facility seems unlikely to replace the existing Bellingham Buttery this season, so the friends of Levens Hall will have wait until April 2019 to check out the new menu.

Thank you for your review. The Bellingham Buttery is still serving hot food, albeit it a more selective offering to what has been available previously. The new restaurant will open at the beginning of 2019, and we feel sure that you will enjoy all that the new restaurant will have to offer. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Am a regular visitor to the gardens and make use of the season ticket offer to visit whenever I am in the area - very good value. The gardens are full of stunning topiary, beautiful flower beds, and a lovely secluded pond. There are lost of benches where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The house feels very homely and is full of interesting items. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. There is a shop and a tea-room and plenty of parking.

This garden is cute and it has lots of different shapes of grass & trees! It just made me think of the movie Edward Scissorhands. My friends and I had so much fun here, and we all enjoyed our visit very much.
