A nice easy climb with some good views. Best to go after rain when the waterfalls are at their best.

I loved this walk! it was a nice day for a change but the path was quite muddy. It was well worth the hike.

An easy enough walk up the good path by Sour Milk Ghyll to Easdale Tarn. Cross over the stream and return on the other side going down into Easdale Valley and back along to Grasmere. Stop at Lancrigg for tea and cakes on the way back.

With blue winter skies and crunchy ice and snow underfoot this was a great walk. Okay for novices with good strong books, the paths were generally very clear and the ascent onto the fells not too strenuous. A good round walk of about 5 hours so between 8-10 miles.
