The location is great, just outside the main village. Amenities within walking distance or a short drive away. The hotel is clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious with the River Rothay babbling away below the window. Enjoyed our stay.

We had originally booked for a 5 night stay but had to leave on day 4 because of a family illness at home. Our room was vary spacious and cosy. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and all the staff were very polite and attentive. This hotel is in an excellent location and that is a major plus point.

Our room was comfortable but the remote on the TV didn't work and the telephone line was dead. The water from the shower came out piping hot and would have scolded me had I not stood away very quickly.

After I returned home I saw that the hotel had charged me twice so it took me a fair bit of hassle and phone calls to resolve this annoyance.

However the cooked breakfast was great and so was the location, so we would return but the rooms need a bit more TLC.

Had a lovely stay at Bridge house Hotel. Evening meal and breakfast were very good , although only having three small new potatoes between two was not enough, shame as the standard of the evening meal was excellent. The hotel is very nice, although if you are looking for modern, then this is not for you. It is very homely with comfortably beds. The hotel is very warm, had to open the windows in the bedroom in February! They could save money on heating and temperature of the hot water and give clients an extra couple of potatoes
Staff are welcoming and very friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Thankyou for our lovely stay, we will return very soon.

We stay here for 2 nights in January and were made to feel very welcome. The Hotel is very cosy with open log fires and beautiful grounds. Whilst we were there we viewed there Cottage and it was out of this world! We have booked to go back with our family to stay in the cottage for our 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Thank you Adam & Lucie for such a warm welcome and looking after us throughout our stay, and we will see you both soon.

Room Tip: Room 10 was huge!
