We have just returned from celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday - we had rented all 3 cottages together - Cazenovia Hall, Riverain and Wythburn. We were 14 adults, 5 children and a baby all together. The accommodation in all the rentals is absolutely superb - definitely 5 star - the bedrooms were lovely with very comfortable bed and all had beautiful en-suites too. The kitchens have absolutely everything you need for cooking & celebration drinks & nibbles. Lovely big squishy sofas, rugs and roaring fires with plenty of wood & candles too! The dining table in Cazenovia Hall has a pool table underneath which was a great bonus - fun for all ages. We all loved it. It is in the country, so plenty of peace & quiet, but a friendly pub with good food probably about a mile & a half away. We all just wished we had had more time to enjoy it all!

“A beautiful gem”

Just returned from a surprise 40th at Cazenovia Hall and what a beautiful place to celebrate! We are a family of 6 with dogs and had spent a while looking for luxury accommodation that was also pet friendly, so glad we stumbled on this treat. We were lucky that it snowed and had a long weekend of walking in the local countryside, making use of the aga, secret pool table and the open log fire. It was a dream to be 'snowed in'!

If you are looking for a quiet country retreat this place is perfect. There is a pub called the boot and Shoe about a mile away and we ate there twice, people were really friendly and food was lovely.

We'll definitely be back

Liked best: 4 Beds - all ensuite, modern fixtures and fittings, pet friendly, open fire, aga, beautiful location
Liked least: It didn't bother us as there wasn't anyone else staying in the other cottages but but just to be aware that the back garden is open and shared access with the other cottages - just so you know if you have dogs and that would be an issue!

“Fantastic property for a winter break away.”

We've just returned from a fantastic weekend in cazenovia hall. We were a group of four couples on a christmas getaway. The property is stunning with an amazing open plan ground floor perfect for spending time with special friends. Being November we knew the weather would not be so great but we still managed to explore near by Penrith. We visited the Clickham Inn on Saturday night and were all made to feel like locals. We would recommend Sunday lunch at The Boot and shoe in greystoke. I would highly recommend this property 1st class.

We hired Cazenovia together with Wythburn Cottage for another family get together, the weather was not our best friend but we had cosy accommodation to shelter us. The snooker table was useful on Friday & Saturday evening whilst the storm raged outside. We managed to get into Keswick & Penrith on Saturday but opted to stay home on Sunday. Both properties warm spacious and clean. Always feel like home from home in one of the Rowley Estate properties. Next March back to Hause Hall, can't wait

We have just come back from our son's wedding and what a spectacular venue, Blencow Hall was a perfect wedding venue. We all had a marvellous stay in luxury accomadation including the adjoining cottages and all guests were truly bowled over by the accomadation and surroundings. Thanks to Jilly, Christine and Charles for all their help, advice and high standards. We would all happily reccomend this to anyone considering a wedding and or luxury stay in beautiful countryside.
