We spent one night here. Even though a wedding was taking place the hotel it was very quiet and peaceful. The wedding venue is separate from the main hotel so no noise makes its way through to the bedrooms. This is not always the case in wedding venue hotels. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was spacious, clean and quiet. Views from the hotel are good and it is very easy to gain access to the coastal path. It's a short walk into Ramsgate too. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast in the adjoining pub and all were very good.

we decided to tour a part of England so far unknown to us and booked the Pegwell due to its location and were very happy we did.
The Hotel is in a lovely position on the bay, known for its artistic past. Its quite a popular wedding venue as it was on our friday stay but without the noise of most similar places due mainly to the fact of its reception hall, which is on the other side of the road in a lovely spot looking out over the bay.
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, our stay included a lovely breakfast with all the usual trimmings great for a good start.
We walked into Ramsgate early evening as its not far, about 20 minutes to the Harbour which is lovely and has alot of good bars and eateries around it, well recommended. In the other direction of the Hotel is the coastal path which is also worth a short stroll on to see the full beauty of the bay.

Not many places I visit genuinely surprise me, but this hotel did. First impressions are important, and our greeting was warm and friendly. This is a three star hotel, so we weren't expecting fine and fancy. However what we got was a perfectly acceptable, clean room with a lovely view across Pegwell Bay. Although the room was small it was adequate with comfortable beds, clean linen, and a clean bathroom with shower. The trump card was the pub across the road, which can be reached via a tunnel! This was lively, friendly and served surprisingly good food, and plenty of it! I would give my recommendation to this hotel for a short stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view across Pegwell Bay

Always stay here when working in Sandwich. Excellent hotel, lovely rooms. Staff always polite and courteous. The pub / restaurant offers and delivers a great menu and the bar / waiting staff are first class. Lovely breakfast and again, the staff are excellent. Highly recommend!!

Attended a wedding here the other day; the hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The balconies have a great view of the sea. The rooms are clean and well-equipped; my room was a little warm but came with a fan so everything was okay. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was good, I would recommend the kippers.
