We had afternoon tea using a voucher that was bought for us as a gift.
First of all we were left waiting to be seated for almost 15 minutes - in the end we just went and sat down ourselves.
If we had not had the voucher we would not have waited.
The only two tables available were set but they were dirty!
We cleaned the table ourselves and were then given a menu.
We handed our voucher over and was asked what tea we would like.
Within 10 minutes our order was brought out - the teapots were dirty and my cup was chipped.
The stand was brought out with our food on. There was 3 finger sandwiches each, all with odd tasting fillings - one was cucumber and a mint yoghurt.
The scones although warm were tiny and overcooked! The cakes offered were very rich and sickly.
Overall I do not feel the afternoon tea was worth the price and as a result of this and the f at everything was dirty and we were left waiting, I would not return nor would I recommend afternoon tea here.
