We loved this cosy little cottage, which was so comfortably furnished and every need catered for. It is quiet and private, and surrounded by beautiful herefordshire countryside, but a short drive to a number of historic towns. My six year old daughter loved it too, and it was ideal for her to play outside safely in the garden around the cottage. The owners have been extremely helpful when I have needed assistance. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
I stayed here for three nights with my husband, toddler and baby, and we loved it. On arrival we were greeted personally by the owner, Serena, and shown into the property. Our first impression was how welcoming and cosy (not a euphemism for small!) it felt and how spotlessly clean everything was. We've stayed in several holiday cottages this year and this was by far the cleanest!
There was a sufficient welcome pack of tea bags, coffee, biscuits and milk, and a cot and highchair were helpfully available too. The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything you could need. The only slightly negative thing we could say about the Long Barn is that the water pressure in the shower is a bit on the low side, but that feels very nit-picky as overall this is a lovely and easy place to stay. I just wish we could have stayed longer!
Serena and Simon just begun their journey providing holiday accommodation. We must say that:- A welcome is just that. Your need is their need. They are a professional couple who want to give you the quality expected for a stay in rural Herefordshire. Minor updating of some elements is bringing the properties up to their own high requirements.
