“Idyllic Cottage”
Reviewed 23 September 2019 for a stay in September 2019

My parents and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful weekend at the cottage. James and Paula (the owners) live nearby and were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. They really couldn’t have been more hospitable.

The cottage is located in beautiful countryside and is very peaceful. Only the sound of birdsong and the breeze in the trees breaking the silence. Stunning views across the valley and a number of lovely walks on our doorstep made this a very tranquil stay. A great base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding area.

The cottage is contemporary with some traditional touches and there are even examples of the owners art work on the walls, which are a real point of interest. Overall exceptionally clean, airy and bright with an upstairs loo and smart wet room downstairs, modern kitchen and good storage. The bedroom is cosy, but airy and spacious with a good double bed. I slept on the pull-out sofa bed in the lounge and found it really comfortable. A wood burning stove keeps the cottage toasty and warm and there are lovely outside seating areas where you can relax with a glass of wine from the owner’s vineyard as the sun sets over the valley.

I loved this cottage and would definitely return.

“Vineyard Cottage”
Reviewed 31 August 2019 for a stay in August 2019

Perfect for a peaceful & relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and can highly recommend James’s (the owner) wine. The short walk along the lane to the New Inn pub was well rewarded with lovely surroundings and great food.

“Good stay”
Reviewed 24 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed in this lovley little cottage in July. The cottage itself is nice and the bedroom lovley the whole place is generally very clean with a nice log burner !!
The owners live next door and we're very welcoming and we even got a tour of the vineyard and purchased a bottle of the home grown wine which was pricey but very nice !!
Just a couple of things to note that it is very remote and the nearest pub the new inn is in walking distance but a bit shabby so we didn't go in !!
Also you cannot get a phone signal in the cottage and the internet is very hit and miss which some people may enjoy but was annoying !!
But all in all a really quiet but enjoyable stay and we would recommend it !!

Thanks Phil & Jo

“Very comfortable picturesque location”
Reviewed 10 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Everything just as expected
The cottage was well equipped
The location was very pretty overlooking the valley down a one car lane
Facilities were good except for the BBQ which by Aussie standards was poor
The owners were terrific & very helpful with local information
