St Kenelm is situated in a delightful and quaint cul de sac of cotswold stone cottages by a bubbling stream on the edge of Winchcombe. I can imagine in the summer (not the pouring rain and howling wind like I experienced) it would be the quintessential English chocolate box setting and a wonder to behold.
Inside St Kenelm it is comfortable and clean and has the basics of fixtures fittings and furnishings. It is by no means luxury but is functional and pleasant. Light, airy and warm. Everything as it should be. I usually would expect a higher level of comfort from this kind of property at this price, but I wasn’t disappointed, just not enamoured. All of the cottage was in excellent condition and I’d consider staying again if I am in the area and the price reflected the accommodation.
