Was treated to a one night stay, very charming village, got a room in one of the outbuildings, very big room, classic furniture befitting the character of the property.

Great location also for hikes around the cotswolds.

We stayed at the Lords of the Manor for four nights as a, slightly belated, celebration of our wedding anniversary. Our reception was friendly and efficient and the car parked up for us. The room was excellent, large and spacious with all the facilities that we would expect or wish for. There were no complaints from us concerning it at all except, perhaps, that the internet could be a little dodgy and sometimes not there. Generally we were very comfortable indeed. The staff always ready to help, even with those important little details. There is no doubt that dinner here is something to be savoured. We went through the, admittedly a little restricted, menu during the time we were here and found it all very good, often bordering on the excellent. Wine was very good too.
Service was excellent if a little pretentious on occasion. Breakfast however though good for this level of hotel was a little chaotic and not to the level of the dinner at all and was one of the few areas that we thought could be improved. A very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: The Waddingham is the only one we saw but would recommend

Stayed in the top floor room. Was an amazing experience from the get-go.
Extremely good service to a beautiful room with a breathtaking view of the hills, fields and trees. So many beautiful colours to admire.

Very peaceful and serene atmosphere, played croquet in the lovely green grass and had a relaxing lemonade in the lawn.

The breakfast was delicious and very efficient.

Overall- amazing stay and highly recommend

We arrived to be shown to the most wonderful room. Which had a lovely view, free still and sparkling water was available. The most wonderful bathroom with large egg bath and super walk in shower complimented with luxurious toiletries. A very comfortable sleep not too hot or too cold. Only problem steps to the bathroom which was not a problem for us as we have them at home but some people might find it an issue.
The food was magnificent and the chef very accommodating as I am a very fussy diner. One course was risotto and I don’t eat rice and I was swiftly offered duck Carpaccio which was wonderful. The dessert was to die for. The staff served everything with beautiful aplomb.
The breakfast was delicious both cooked and continental offering fresh fruit and pain au raisin my favourite. The only slight criticism is there could have been a larger choice of cheese and cooked meats.
Upon checking out saying how wonderful everything had been to the Manager I explained we had only stayed one night as the menu often does not have many choices so I can end up eating the same dishes on consecutive evenings. But he explained the chef would discuss dishes and ensure that variations would be available so that you were able to eat differently every evening if you wished.
The hotel and grounds are magnificent, couldn’t really enjoy the grounds as the weather was typically wet November but the staff were so helpful and accommodating I can’t wait to test the chef on my return.

Room Tip: ask and they will accommodate
