“Lovely area and nice accomodation”
Reviewed 10 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

I booked the Medieval Hall after having been let down by a few rental owners, and Jane was so lovely to deal with and provided all the information I needed to make a decision.
We brought three cars with us for the weekend, parking in the car park wasn't a problem as its so cheap (£2.50!) and we only had to pay for the Saturday as Sundays and after 5pm is free.
Had to wait a while for the loading bays behind the property to become available as it seemed people were using them for well over an hour, most likely as free parking to go shopping.
Access to the property was great, and the flat was so warm when we arrived which was lovely.
Definitely medieval with the slope of the floors in the flat, we didn't mind as it was charming but may deter some people and wasn't included in the description.
The bedrooms were all laid out ready for us and included bath robes and slippers which was a nice touch of luxury. Bathrooms were a great quality, I would note that neither have locks on the doors which when the property sleeps 10 is a bit of a nightmare! I'd also note that the showers didnt seem to be able to function at the same time, so negotiations were needed.

I would agree with previous reviews that the lounge area was quite dark, a few more overhead lights would have made such a difference.
Also lack of "welcome" guide as i'd put it, explaining heating/dishwasher/washing machine etc, would be quite helpful.
Overall very lovely and such a great location.

“Lovely little place in great location! Would use again & recommend!”
Reviewed 23 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This was a brilliant little place that six of us as friends stayed at for a weekend. You couldn't ask for a better location right on the high street and its very easy to explore the town and to go for nice walks. The apartment itself was full of character (love the ceiling beams), very spacious, clean, well equipped and great to have TV and wi-fi as well. Good instructions for parking - would recommend the long stay car park up the hill opposite the police station as only £2.50 for the day and free on Sundays.

One slight disadvantage was that next door to one of the bedrooms is a night club which empties at the weekends in the early hours of the morning. However my advice is simply know this and bring ear plugs :) Or go for a long walk so that you are tired out and get to sleep before they turn out.

“Characterful apartment in a very convenient location”
Reviewed 7 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Lovely apartment in which we (4 adults and 4 children) stayed for four nights. The main room was ideal for us and had adequate space (the children are under eleven). Bedrooms comfortable. The area was quiet in the evenings, though there is a nightclub across the road, this wasn't noisy Mon-Thurs evenings. Nice shops close by and Stroud well-located for visiting other attractions. Really enjoyed stay. Downsides were lack of parking (though long stay car park not far and always had spaces at £2.50 per 24 hours) and no outside space, but this was offset by convenience of shops and amenities.

Management Response
15 Nov 2014
Dear guests, thank you for the lovely review for Medieval Hall Apartment - (incorrectly posted on Bell House Apartments).

Dear Trip Advisor & Holiday Lettings - this advert is still appearing on the wrong property advert - should be Medieval Hall Apartment, not Bell House Apartments.

“Excellent place to stay in Stroud”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We were a group of 7 friends from university down to compete in a tough mudder event in Cirencester, The apartment was just what we were after. I had plenty of space in the living room (although not that much light) and Jane set the beds up so we were able to have one each. We had a night in having a meal and had sky TV and a DVD player for entertainment and were very comfortable.

We had everything we needed throughout are stay and finding the keys and apartment was very easy. The apartment is located on a very nice street. The only downside was that it is located near to a night club and in one of the bedrooms this is loud when people are leaving (between 12pm and 2am). However it was not loud enough to wake those that were already asleep by then.

Overall it was a very good stay if you are after a central apartment in Stroud.
