We stayed in the back, in the newer section. We were very pleased with the room. It was spacious and clean. We had two breakfasts and one dinner there, and the food was great. Our Slovakian waitress was cheerful and efficient. We were very pleased.
The pump was clean and the staff and locals were friendly. We had a short lunch there., Very happy with it.
Well behaved dogs were welcomed there, which was fine with us, since we missed our own dogs.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last 12 months and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit, Staff so friendly and attentive, very central, rooms lovely and the food is fabulous, breakfast- just take you time and enjoy! Its all fresh and well worth it. Will book again when needing a short break.!

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms at the back have car parking outside, which is convenient and easy

We have just enjoyed a fantastic lunch here and would highly recommend it. Some relations had been before and recommended it to us. Today we wanted somewhere special for two wedding anniversaries, one being a Golden anniversary. The staff were very hospitable. The food was delicious with plenty of choice for all including the children in our party. The atmosphere was friendly, the bar, restaurant and toilets were all spotless lay clean and nicely decorated making us feel special. We have already decided to visit again and stay overnight next time. Moreton-in-the-Marsh is such a lovely village

Room Tip: We did not stay over

Everything about Moreton in Marsh is amazing and we are so glad to be able to be able to visit for the weekend. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the pub and reception area are delightful, but once inside the room my spirit dropped a bit. The decor is a bit dated and mis matched. For instance, our window has a country style lantern with a heart cutout, a classic white clock and a round modern sculpture all surrounded by an expensive but dated fringe valence and half curtains.

Here are some positives: . We have a complimentary drink at reception and a decanter of sherry and a nice tea tray with coffee granules and twinning tea. The bathroom is larger than expected and he toiletries seemed a nice quality. That being said, I think I'll skip the instant coffee and have a real cup ☕️ at the included buffet breakfast tomorrow instead.

We paid 150 pounds so 200 USD and would have expected much more for that amount of money.

This hotel is in an excellent location, on the main road and a couple of blocks from the train station. However, we were overall rather disappointed in our stay. Except for the pub, much of the charm and atmosphere of the interiors has been decorated out. Our room was clean, but very tired. The linens had tears, the furniture and carpet was worn, the fan never worked in the bath (nor did the drains work properly.) There were rather steep stairs to the upper floor. The breakfast buffet was well done however.
