I've stayed at the Redesdale Arms a number of times over the years and on each occasion it has been well worth repeating. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, comfortable bed for good night's sleep. The food in the bar was delicious on all 3 nights.Very relaxing break.

We generally liked the Redesdale Arms, but our room (14) was below par, It was poorly insulated, damp with crumbling plasterwork and decaying skirting. The bathroom was particularly smelly from drains or dampness or both and we were obliged to spray deodorant around just to make it bearable. The room overlooks a courtyard, but the single remnant of net curtain did nothing to protect our modesty from passers by!

We ate as a group and the food was reasonable, but the service let it down. It pitifully slow - we sat at table for well over 3 hours. Surely more staff or greater efficiency is needed for group sittings.

Having said that, all the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and courteous. The breakfast was adequate and the bars comfortable with a good range of ales. We glanced into colleagues rooms and these seemed much better, so maybe we've been unlucky. However, once bitten.........

Room Tip: Avoid Room 14 unless it has recently been completely refurbished.

My partner and I stayed here for one night on the way to meet some friends. The staff made us feel very welcome, especially the manager. We stayed in a ground floor junior suite which had its own little garden, we were able to park outside. Had a bar meal which was really good, as was the breakfast. Would recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here just for the Saturday night as a quick getaway and it proved an excellent choice. The bedrooms were lovely: well appointed (we had a superior room) in contemporary style: the bed was super king so very roomy albeit a bit hard for us but we are used to toppers on mattresses so probably very good for most people. Cafetiere coffee in the room was a nice touch. Shower excellent.

Room Tip: Any of the superior bedrooms in the annex you would be happy with.

We stayed here for one night and what a good choice recommended by many other Trip Advisor reviewers. We were nicely surprised when shown to our room situated off the car park at the rear of the hotel, we were allocated one of the small purpose built apartments which included a big bedroom with huge bed, ensure bathroom, separate lounge with comfortable furniture and TV and patio doors leading to a very small but adequate garden complete with table and chairs. The room also included complimentary bottles of water and sherry.
The beer (Redesdale Ale) is particularly good as is the service from the friendly and efficient lady who was working yesterday afternoon, and the menu meets most tastes and is good value and tasty.
Breakfast included with the room rate was just as good, catering for most appetites.
All in all this was clearly the best we have experienced in Moreton for value, service and quality and we have stayed in most of the hotels in the town.
We would definitely go back to the Redesdale again.
Well done all.
