We stayed here for two nights with family- four adults and four young children (aged 4-9). It was exactly what we were after- plenty of space both outside and inside which meant that the children could let off steam whenever needed and the adults could sit and have a glass of wine and a chat in peace once the children had gone to bed. We were made to feel very welcome and as we were the only party there we had exclusive use of the large sitting room plus billiards room and the garden which has a trampoline and a swing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean, we were given plenty of towels and the children had a fantastic time in the jacuzzi! It is perfectly located for walks on Cleve Common, and they even have a large box of different sized wellies to borrow. All in all it suited us perfectly. The owners have two small dogs which might not suit everyone but were very happy to keep the dogs out of the comunal areas while we were there.

The couple managing this spacious and comfortable B&B went out of their way to make our group of 8 feel welcome. Having reviewed the description of this place after our stay however, there are some inaccuracies: 1) In my opinion there is one en suite bathroom not 3 and all guests do not have their own bathroom as stated. One bathroom is shared between two rooms so that guests in one bedroom have to enter the adjacent bedroom of other guests. This may be fine for people who know one another very well but if not, having strangers enter your bedroom is just not on. One bathroom is separate to a bedroom so is not en suite and is in fact shared with the managers! 2) The snooker table may be full sized but is within a conservatory that houses various parrots and dogs so any allergy sufferers (we had 2) may wish to think twice before chalking their cues! Also, the conservatory leaked when it rained heavily and was unusable on the night in question. 3) There is no Sky TV as stated. This is a recently opened B&B and I am sure that given time and further investment, all of these issues can be remedied especially as the managers were keen to receive honest feedback.

Myself and 4 lads stayed here on a Saturday night. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and the breakfast was just what was needed. Cleanliness was fantastic, room sizes very good and facilities ideal. Not far from Chelt and close to the race course too. There were 4 doubles but apparently they are getting 2 Single beds for one of the rooms, which would have suited us better but at least they'll be there for next time :)
Having made a very late booking we could not have been happier with our choice. The property was ideally situated for out trip to the races and convenient for Town. We had a welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble. We will return!
