Very friendly and helpful management. Good decor. Nice quiet and warm room. Access to a great nearby gym. The hotel is located in an attractive garden square. On site restaurant had a good choice of food and good service. Breakfast was very good.

I have stayed in Cheltenham many times but not stayed here before. I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely presented hotel, my room was a great size and had everything I needed. The bed was huge and comfortable. Room was super clean. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was very good to. Good quality and a good variety. The staff were very friendly too. Overall a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended

The hotel is in a great location, near to all the shops and restaurants. The staff were lovely and even gave my partner a card and birthday cake for the special occasion. The room was cosy and we loved the little touch of the teddybear. We didn't get to use the pool but the restaurant in the hotel was really good (I'd recommend the pork belly.) Our only regret was not having the chance to stay for longer! We visited over August Bank Holiday.

an imposing Regency Hotel private residence by the Duke of Wellington up to 10 years ago. in a delightful square where you can still envisage the cab abd horses and crinolines. we had the Wellesley bedroom on the ground floor...enormous !! food was fare better than we had envisaged. tho the dining room could be made more attactive as also the Lounge bar. worthy of attention by the Husband and Wife Owners. staff tho lovely. eg Kevin and Ellie.

Room Tip: the Wellessly ground flooor overlooking the square.

My husband & I stayed for one night and booked a table in the 'Joules' restaurant on site. We were upgraded to a bigger room on arrival so that was a great start! We were attentively taken care of, enjoyed beautifully prepared meals (the steak was fantastic, melt in the mouth tender!) and had a very comfortable room with a lovely powerful shower (unlike some hotels we've been to!) Every member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
