Went for a last minute afternoon tea here. The hotel is modern even quirky! Staff wear suits but with trainers!
The Afternoon Tea was good value at £10 per person. Nice big pot of tea! and cakes were homemade. We sat in the conservatory which was open and airy. The only downfall was that no staff were around once we had been served our food.

Visited with a friend for a long weekend. The hotel is modern behind a regency facade with some lovely individual touches. I was with a friend so had booked a twin room - was shown to a double with a bath in the bedroom. It was changed for me instantly at my request. Twin beds are twin mattresses on a king sized bed - but wasn't a problem. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. Service was always friendly and good. Hotel has a lovely atmosphere. Loved all of the iPod technology but took two days to realise that was where the hotel information was! Great location too. Well worth a visit.

I stayed at Montpellier Chapter with my parents for a long weekend in July. The hotel is in a great location in Montpellier within easy walking distance of the town centre, shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is modern and well finished and the rooms, although a little small, were well apppointed and had great touches such as an Nespresso coffee machine and ipod. As the previous reviewer has stated the bed was so comfortable I didn't to wake up. The breakfast was very nice and well presented. Overall a lovely weekend in a great hotel and we look forward to going back.

We have just returned from a two night stay for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Lovely modern, quite hip hotel in sensitively converted Georgian mansion. Our feature room was superb, modern but so comfortable, coffee machine and free, restocked mini bar a nice touch in a time when such frills are rare. We loved the whole bath in the bedroom idea and the bath is huge. Service, at all times was very good, a little fast at dinner initially but soon solved with a quiet word and breakfast service was very good too -not sure why some felt it was slow. The food was very nice. They make great cocktails, bar service and drawing room service was excellent and I loved the books you could borrow for your stay. We felt very comfortable hanging out having coffee and/or drinks, the staff were so nice, it felt genuine not rehearsed.

Super location, right on Montpellier with little shops, cafes and nice bars.

Highly recommended, cannot wait to go back and use the spa this time.

Room Tip: Feature room 108 on the crescent was quiet with a decent green view. I think they are quieter than...

We have just returned from a two night stay here. The Bed was the most comfortable ever! Did not want to wake up! The REN toiletries and complimentary mini bar were nice touches. The service in the Hotel was great all the staff were friendly and work really hard. Breakfast was tasty as was the bar meal we had. The hotel is a short walk from the town and there are loads of places to eat and drink so we made the most of the location. We also went for a drive into the Cotswalds which was beautiful! The only negative would be that the drinks were a little expensive. I also didn't find time to use the spa - which I regret! I hoped the hotel was going to be as good as it looked on line and I was not let down. Looking at your place in Exeter for next time got a wedding there next month.
Thanks!
