The hotel was an excellent base for the Bridge holiday. This is an 18th century hotel, so no there is not a lift. However, there is good food, a decent bar, excellent packed lunch option, comfortable double rooms. Plenty of parking in their private car park. Friendly and helpful staff. Close proxiity to the centre of Bourton. Oh, and the Bridge tuition was top notch.

Whether you are walking with HF Holidays or vacationing on your own, this historic property is steps away from the stone bridges over the central river through the town centre. Lots of hot water and rooms have a kettle and tea selections. Excellent meals. Daniel the manager and Loreena, restaurant manager, work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Don't forget to go up the central staircase to the tower for views of the town. There are even chairs there to watch the sunset! Public footpath across the street takes you to the lovely towns of Lower and Upper Slaughter.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back face the garden

We stayed here for a 3 day walking holiday and a very keen price. The accommodation was excellent as was the food, which included a brilliant packed lunch which you assembled from a limitless table yourselves. The house was warm and bright and the staff very friendly indeed. We will definitely now join the HF group who own this and many others

Harrington House is one of 19 houses managed by HF tours in Britain. It is a lovely old house, the rooms basic but comfortable, the staff very accommodating and the meals absolutely fabulous. In addition to our group of 17 Canadians, there were walkers from Britain and other parts of the world which made for lively discussions and conversations during the walks, before and after mealtimes. One can choose from easy, medium and harder walks and the guides (volunteers) are superb.
The Cotswolds countryside is beautiful, great scenery and houses - 'old England' at its best.

Room Tip: We were in an attic - quiet, but had to run the water for quite some time before it was hot. Did have a heated towel rail, however!!

Staff friendly and welcoming. Food very good although vegetarian options could be better. Room very nice with a lovely shower en-suite. I was on a guided walking holiday and the walks in the area are varied and enjoyable and not too arduous.
