We visited the Dial House 8 years ago. Today we returned and the food and service were equally exceptional. Our waiter Scott was very friendly and a pleasure to meet. We can highly recommend this beautiful place in Bourton on the Water.

Nice ambience and a calm and relaxed atmosphere in the dining room. The menu is varied and our main courses were lovely. I’m coeliac and there were a number of main courses I could have. I didn’t have a starter but most of them were adaptable too. The desserts were disappointing though. Not in the quality of the desserts themselves (my husband had one that was delicious - so he told me). But in terms of gluten free options, almost all the desserts were either pastry or sponge based and not GF. I could only have one of them (panna cotta) and even then, it would have come minus a third of its elements.

Walked into the dial house for breakfast, without a booking.

Ordered the full English and the quality of food was excellent.

Staff were friendly and good selection on the menu.

So pleased we chose to eat here. Excellent, perfectly cooked and presented dishes.
