“Brilliant views in comfort”
Reviewed 26 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

What a great find! A very comfortable cottage with great views into the Rother valley. Well equipped and perfect uninterrupted views of the countryside. A short drive to Rye and all of the other sites of interest in the area. Lovely private walks around the farmland with well sited benches to sit and enjoy the views. Plenty of sheep and wildlife around to view from the comfort of the lounge.

“An excellent cottage in beautiful countryside and with lovely views”
Reviewed 2 October 2015 for a stay in August 2015

It would be difficult to fault the cottage internally and both of our children (teenager and toddler) loved being so near to grazing sheep just the other side of the garden fence. The view from the living room over miles of countryside helped us to have a very relaxing holiday, even though the weather was poor when we stayed. Despite being in a rural location it is only fifteen minutes drive from Rye and the nearby beaches. We would definitely recommend it.

“Tamworth Cottage is a great place for a holiday.”
Reviewed 27 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had another amazing family holiday at Tamworth Cottage this year (our third visit). It is a fantastic location, quiet and peaceful, yet within easy travelling distance of beaches, castles and a go-kart track! The cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped and there are lovely views. The garden is great with lots of room for our sons to play tennis and football plus a super patio for a relaxing glass of wine whilst admiring the sunset. A fantastic welcome pack is provided on arrival and the owners are very helpful and friendly.

“Delightful holiday cottage holiday with our 5 year old grandson”
Reviewed 20 July 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We rented Tamworth Cottage for a week long stay on the sheep farm with our 5 year old grandson. We had a delightful week with Roger Cooke [owner's husband] showing our grandson how to feed the lambs which he did on several occasions.

The cottage was very comfortable with an excellent kitchen and lounge area and the bedrooms were well appointed

There were several detailed walks around the farm that we enjoyed every morning before breakfast - There were plenty of interesting places to visit in the area and weather was warm enough for a trip to Camber Sands and our grandson enjoyed the fun poll in Tenterden.

Restaurants in Tenterden were suitable for a young child [Prezzo / Cafe Rouge etc] but thefood / meals on offer in the country pubs in the area were a little disappointing but I suspect most visitors will tend to prepare dinner at the cottage

Very pleasant owners and a very enjoybable holiday

“A well-appointed cottage in an excellent location”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The beautiful cottage is furnished with everything you could wish for and a welcome pack on arrival was an added bonus. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The farm is in an ideal location for walking and access to local towns and villages. There are well-planned walks across the farmland which are colour-coded for ease, and 'carry with you' cards which detailed the walks are also provided. We had a baby grandson with us and the farmer took time out to bring lambs to the garden for him to help bottle feed - a wonderful task which we all enjoyed. All in all, this was a very enjoyable stay.
