“Comfortable calm cottage in fabulous situation”
Reviewed 12 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

If you've never been, Rye Harbour is an amazing place. Unlike any other. Marshy pools, birdlife, huge skies, plus of course the sea. Plus close to Camber Sands which is gorgeous expanse of beach. Cottage is comfortable, quiet, nice place to relax and stare at the fire in the evenings, and has everything you may wish for.

Thank you so much for your review. Rye Harbour is indeed an amazing place, whatever the season, and in particular, an ideal spot in which to relax and recharge after the festive season. I hope to welcome you back one day. Best wishes, Jane

“Home from home!”
Reviewed 17 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Seakale is truly a home from home. All your needs are catered for and the house is beautiful and extremely comfortable.

Location is great for Rye and the nature reserve is just a stroll away.

We had a really relaxing long weekend, which was exactly what we wanted! The freshly baked cake that was left for us was very welcome too!

Thank you very much for your positive review. It was great that your weekend just happened to coincide with Rye Bonfire, which is a truly fantastic event that takes place along the medieval streets of Rye. There's always plenty of smoke, noise and atmosphere! Best wishes, Jane

“welcoming comfortable cottage”

We had a delightful long weekend in seakale. Everything was so thoughtful. Welcome goodies, lovely linen, comfortable, stylish furnishings. The nearby nature reserve was great for walks and Rye is a fascinating town.

Thank you for your kind review. I'm so pleased that you found Seakale a comfortable place to stay. You were also very lucky with the unseasonably warm weather, which must have really enhanced your long weekend! Best wishes, Jane

This cottage is amazing & Jane can not be more helpful.
We love every minute of our stay and will definitely be booking again!
The local pub was very friendly and it was just a short drive into Rye.
We also had a lovely day at Camber Sands :)

“Fantastic house and location”
Reviewed 10 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Seakale is just as their website described. Its a little bit of luxury in Rye Harbour. After a long day walking and exploring a hot bath in the over sized enamel bath was a godsend together with supplied luxury beds and linen.
Just about everything you could need is supplied in the kitchen, even a nespresso coffee machine with coffee.
Decor throughout has been put together to a really high standard and overall is a thoroughly lovely place to stay

Thank you very much for your positive review. It was lovely to hear that you had enjoyed your week exploring and re-visiting the local area. You also had the added bonus of superb late summer weather! It's my favourite time of year there with so many varied walks. I hope to welcome you back one day. With best wishes, Jane
