“Amazing surprise weekend!”
Reviewed 20 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

This was a surprise weekend away as planned by my fiance. He really did select the most amazing place! We stayed in the largest of the 4 lodges and found it to be incredibly inviting, cosy, warm, stylish, rustic and certainly very comfortable. Breakfast was superb as was the service provided by Emma & Bryony. We loved all the little signs and detail they have put into this place. I was also surprised with a treatment in The Snug. One word - heaven! Fleur is a miracle worker, I'd highly recommend her full body massage! Would we return? Just try and stop us!!

“Absolutely gorgeous”
Reviewed 28 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

I was looking for a really lovely place for an overnight stay for my husbands birthday in November and I am so pleased to have discovered Blue Door Barns. What a gorgeous bolt-hole in a beautiful part of the country. The lovely owner Bryony was really accommodating and you has a real flair for creating a comfortable and stylish place to stay. As we have a young family, we could only stay one night before heading back to family life, but we were able to book a single Saturday night (rather than a two night stay as is the case with lots of places) and Bryony also managed to squeeze a booking for spa treatment for us both in before we headed back to real-life in London. Fabulous and delicious breakfast got a big thumbs up from my super critical husband too! We will definitely be back!

“Our new favourite bolt hole :)”
Reviewed 31 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Stayed here for one night but it was so lovely we shall definetely be returning! My husband booked it as an anniversary surprise, and we arrived on a wet Bank holiday Monday afternoon..we settled into the Cosy 'Nook' room & watched the freeview! The bed was so comfy and the shower the next day was lovely soft water and powerful and hot :)
They had nice soaps and shower products too, and the way they had decorated the room was just lovely, think French shabby chic!
One of the nicest touches was the breakfast in a beautiful dining room n the main house, my huevos rancheros was yummy and my husbands poached egg on avocado toast was equally delicious! Superb hosts too!

“A wonderful stay with our son before his wedding!”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

A wonderful weekend where we stayed prior to our son's wedding. Bryony and Emma treated us to such amazing hospitality and cooked us a wonderful candlelit meal on the Friday evening where we were joined by other guests.
We will treasure our memories of the blue door barns and how welcoming Bryony and Emma were forever!
We have already recommended the bdb to all at the wedding! .....and will continue to do so.

My Partner treated me to a Wonderful night away, and it was truly amazing in every way, on Arrival got a lovely warm greeting from Emma, and we went into our Cottage for the night, The whole aea is decorated to a very high standard and this is throughout, the cottages are laid out in a truly delightful private courtyard, our compact but Beautiful cottage was the Sailers House, WOW, on entering it is just stunning with Attention to detail all over the place, it has everything you need and much more, from DvD players, hairdryers if needed, lovely Toileries, Large Fluffy towels, wonderful egeyption cotton bedding and coushions and stunning bed spreads, and the Bathroom and shower was excellent, we truly had a wonderful stay sadly it was only 1 night but we will most deff be back, we had a look at the other cottages and they all are presented to a very high standard, and worth every penny, the Nearest pub is 5 minutes drive away, its the Ram, and it is wonderful with a private garden, we had lunch, yummy Burgers, and we got a Taxi back in the evening to have dinner, the taxi was only £7.50, cheap as chips and very handy as we both had a yummy bottle of Pino Noir whilst enjoying our Fish board to share,Yum Yum Yum, you can walk along the Bicycle route it takes about 30 minutes to the pub, Back at our wonderful Cottage, we relaxed for the evening with a good dvd to watch, and it was so very peaceful and very quiet evan though you have other people enjoying the same its so quiet, In the Morning after a great nights sleep on a wonderful and very comfortable bed, we headed for Breakfast, and it was just amazing, we got seated in there Beautifully presented Garden, again with such lovely attention to every detail, white linnen napkins, with condiments served in lovely little plates with Real Butter, and very tasty Fresh Orange and Apple juice, our cooked Breakfast was wonderful and again presented with a loving smile, Emma and Bryony really make you feel like family, and we have to thank them both so very much for letting us enjoy there wonderful and Beautiful cottages, we will be back,
