We liked the food here so much, we went back - twice.

The staff were very welcoming and made space for our large party very quickly. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and comfortable.

But most importantly, the food is beautiful and very reasonable. Whether you like a spicy thai or something slightly cooler, the menu is gorgeous and brilliant for the price.

Very tasty food which is slightly tailored to the western palate. Personally, I prefer a little bit more heat in some of the dishes that we tried. A som tum in Thailand should be a firey number but whatever was lacking in heat was made up for in flavour. There was a friendly atmosphere and the service was good.

We have been regulars to this fabulous unpretencious restaurant since it opened. The relaxed atmosphere, teamed with excellent authentic Thai food and professional service never disappoints. Always top of our recommendation list.

We first went to this restaurant in 2002 when it opened and have followed its fortunes ever since, perhaps eating out there at least 100 times.

The Thai selection starter is consistent and delicious, the Queen of Thai soup I could live on. The finely sliced grilled beef is yummy.

It's had its ups and downs over the years and that's only to be expected. However the fact it's always busy and the fact people go back there time and time again speaks volumes.

Fish is a speciality on the mains but that doesn't mean other stuff gets lesser treatment. Sea Bass is brilliant and done in several ways. I'm rubbish at boning it but if Izzet's about he'll do it for you.

There are big windows onto the street and you can watch the world go by, which it does. We recommend it to our guests at the Avalon and have a 95% positive response.

I don't recommend it for a takeaway though. You miss out on the atmosphere and you don't have all that fancy Thai crockery to serve it up on. this place is geared to being a restaurant and works brilliantly as such.

Very mediocre food. Thin, bland, under-spiced curries, with very little meat and just a bit of chopped onion. Is this really "authentic" Thai food? I certainly hope not, as it was one of the worst Thai meals that my wife and I have had. Will not be returning.
